Currently, the London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) covers Central London where a daily charge is applied to the vehicles which do not comply with the current emission standard.
On 29th August 2023, the ULEZ expansion is set to expand to all London boroughs. To check whether your area is affected, visit the GOV.UK website.
For passenger cars which do not meet the emission standards, there is a £12.50 daily charge. You can pay your ULEZ charge here. (Opens in new window)
The London ULEZ operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the only exception of Christmas Day.
Every Lexus that is a petrol or petrol-electric hybrid since January 2006 production is ULEZ compliant and exempt from the daily charge.
You can visit the Transport for London (TFL) website and check your registration with their free vehicle checker. If your vehicle is not ULEZ compliant, there are some exemptions which are detailed here (Opens in new window).
