Lexus Hybrid Insurance includes all the excellent benefits of Lexus Motor Insurance, whilst also offering hybrid owners a potential discount. Based on your miles driven in Electric Vehicle (EV) mode, you could receive up to 25% off your renewal premium.

    Self-Charging Hybrid Insurance

    Your Lexus must be a qualifying Self-Charging Hybrid that has been manufactured from 2024 or beyond and registered in the UK.

    Overview

    • To be eligible for a discount, you must drive a minimum of 30% of your miles in EV mode.
    • To achieve the maximum discount of 25%, you must drive 55% or more of your miles in EV mode.

    Plug-In Hybrid Insurance

    Your Lexus must be a qualifying Plug-In Hybrid that has been manufactured from 2024 or beyond and registered in the UK.

    Overview:

    • To be eligible for a discount, you must drive a minimum of 50% of your miles in EV mode.
    • To achieve the maximum discount of 25%, you must drive 80% or more of your miles in EV mode.

HOW HYBRID INSURANCE WORKS

  • MILES DRIVEN IN EV MODE

    We will only monitor your miles driven in Electric mode against your total mileage over the policy term.

  • DISCOUNT

    Based on the percentage of miles driven in Electric mode you could receive a discount.

  • RENEWAL PREMIUM

    The discount will be automatically applied to your renewal premium.

Uninsured Driver Promise

If you're involved in an accident that isn't your fault and have details of the other car and if possible the driver too, you won't lose your No Claim Discount (NCD) or have to pay any excess.

Automatic Courtesy Car Cover+

Provided by one of our approved repair centres for the duration of the repair. Your insurance cover will be automatically transferred by your local Lexus centre.

You can check your EV usage and overall progress in your Lexus Link+ App which will update automatically after every journey you make.
